If it's dry out, use a humidifier, but not so much you get condensation on your windows that causes mildew. I am learning to strike that balance!
If your car fishtails or does anything weird, just slowly and gently steer in the direction you want to go and don't brake hard (pump brakes unless you have ABS).
Covering your head and neck helps - a LOT! Scarves and hats FTW!
Hi Beverly, Excellent driving advice! I hope that I remember it the next time the roads are icy. I also agree that scarves and hats are the best! I do use a humidifier but it's struggling... : )
