Homemade Twix Bars

 (Photo from Fireflyblog.org)

Suzanna, author of the Firefly Blog, has created a perfect, homemade Twix bar!  Genius!   This recipe was featured on Today's Top 9 over at FoodBuzz.com.  If she comes up with a home version of a 3 Musketeers bar, I want her to adopt me.

  5. This is KILLING ME!! WHY COULD I NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS A YEAR AGO?!

Unfortunately, I am in a torturous lifestyle of gluten-free and dairy-free living. Actually, it is not that bad for me until I think of two things: TWIX bars and KIT KAT bars - my two favorite treats that, of course have dairy AND gluten in them! NOW you are telling me I can make Twix from scratch?!?! Oh! The HUMANITY!!

...Wait, wait, I think I may have a silver lining here. This is a long shot, but maybe, just maaayyybbbee I can figure out some way to make these with gluten-free and dairy free stuff NOW that I have the recipe! Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise!

OK... that's what I will try to learn to do! Thanks for the post! :)
